Gratitude

Many people struggle through this life with varying degrees of unhappiness. These things stem from a lack mentality. The feelings of missing out on something or that what you have is not good enough or new enough or big enough…. It’s the sense of something that is missing. That missing piece is gratitude.

With this shift in people’s perspective, it is great to see that people are striving to make themselves feel better and seeking mental health awareness through the varying outlets. To seek out tools to achieve a sense of balance or meaning into their lives. All these initiatives are great and a promising beginning to better outcomes.

I found for me that feeling of being grateful for where I am and what I have achieved is a blessing. With this I feel a great sense of accomplishment, even through the failures it taught me to be more resilient. I am grateful for all the challenges and obstacles along the way because I learned some very valuable lessons.

Sometimes things will happen along your life path that you weren’t expecting and with it brings what you perceive as a challenge. Know that this challenge is only temporary, and you will be able to make it through. Accept that the obstacle is there to strengthen you and possibly enlighten you to a different way of thinking or being.

Have you ever seen a weak entrepreneur? No, you haven’t because they have learned that they must be resilient in order to consistently achieve. They will face challenges knowing that this is normal course of life. Nothing that challenges us really has the ability to break us unless we allow it.

Seeking help in the mental health realm allows for you to get the tools necessary for you to build that mental fortitude. With that mental strength will allow you to affect change in your life. If you don’t choose to change then nothing in your life will be different. Each day will be excruciatingly similar to the last. You are where you choose to be.

Look at the obstacles or setbacks in your life as challenges to overcome. Once you have successfully overcame the complication, look back and asses the valuable lesson that you learned. Be grateful for having experienced it as you now know that you can accomplish a difficult task, secondly you will know what not to do the same thing if you want a different result. For every bad event there is a flip side to it that you can turn into a positive.
